Crystal Morrison Prentice

Crystal Morrison Prentice, 31, from Concord, North Carolina, left her customer service job at Connextions Recruiting on Corporate Drive in Kannapolis, NC on August 23, 2012. A co-worker saw her walking away from the business complex, but there has been no sign of her since.
On the day she went missing, Crystal called a family member from her office phone at 12:41 p.m. to ask for a ride home. A friend had borrowed her car and Crystal was feeling ill. The family member arrived about 20 minutes later, but Crystal was gone.
"When I wake up every day and realize how many days she has been missing, it's overwhelming," Prentice's sister, Mechelle Morrison Carey, told The Huffington Post. "She has never, ever left her son before, not even for 24 hours," she said. "It's been 19 days since that little boy has had his mom. She did not get to walk him into school on his first day of third grade and she's never not been there for something like that."

Distinguishing Characteristics: Tattoo of KYSON on the back of her neck. Kyson is the name of her eight year old son. She also has a swirling design tattoo on her lower back, wears contact lenses and her ears are pierced. Crystal only wears silver jewelry and may be wearing silver rings on both hands and a silver necklace with a 3 tier pendant with single diamond. She has asthma and requires daily medication and an inhaler. She smokes L&M 100’s menthol cigarettes or Newport 100’s menthol cigarettes.
